Exquisite Mind Program, an innovative project of DPS Sharjah, unleashes the abeyant potential of the students and prepares them to be creative and critical thinkers. Through this program, the gifted students get a chance to augment their abilities beyond the scope of the curriculum, as was envisioned by our Principal and Director Ms. Vandana Marwaha.

The morning of 24th January,2023, saw the convergence of young innovative minds of grade-9 in the annual Exquisite Minds’ Program 2022-23.
Under the English segment, there were two very innovative, creative, and completely student-driven projects aimed to improve grammar, writing skills and comprehension skills of students through gamification and through a website. The name of the first project was A RAY OF HOPE, and the second, SPARK FORWARD. The students put in their best effort, and the result was two brilliant projects which aimed at easing the learning process of the middle school and the primary school students.

In science, innovative projects were made and presented after months of research and effort by the scientific-minded dipsites of our school. These presentations included the Ion Gate, Pressure-Powered Electricity Generator, magnetic doors, and lockers. It was amazing how the young minds worked together and came up with such brilliant ideas.

The young mathematicians of DPS,Sharjah, presented their unique skills in mathematics through 3 projects, namely : Matheletes Innovative Learning in Math, Mathovation and Vehicle Tyres 2.0: All the projects are designed to enrich the students by increasing their knowledge side by side improving their mathematical skills.

In Hindi, the EMP students presented 2 projects done by 2 groups, the first one is a documentary depicting the importance of ancient poets at present, and the second project was aimed at informing students about some brilliant opportunities of career building in Hindi language.
In Social Studies, the students, through their projects, not only gave a comprehensive view of the courses, careers, job opportunities and Universities  to pursue higher studies in SST through their website, but also endeavoured to facilitate students through another project titled “Maps and Timelines Made Easy”.

The EMP students in Arabic and in French came up with brilliant ideas through their innovative projects.

Overall, the Exquisite Minds Program gave golden opportunities to our young dipsites to explore their talents and come up with unique ideas, the purpose is to facilitate their peers and younger dipsites to grasp certain concepts and learn their subjects in a more fruitful way. The judges had high opinions about the students and their projects and blessed them to become productive citizens of the future world.
